Admiral Jet recently encountered a unique challenge when a client approached us with a special request. The client, traveling with their family, needed to reach a remote location in Scandinavia. The trip held significant importance for the family, making it imperative to provide a seamless and comfortable travel experience.

The Challenge

The client’s final destination had an airport with a short runway, limiting the choice of aircraft to a twin-engine turboprop. While this aircraft could accommodate the number of passengers, it posed challenges over the considerable distance to be covered. The turboprop’s inherent noise and restricted cabin space raised concerns, especially since the client was traveling with children.

Admiral Jet suggested an alternative approach — flying into a different airport approximately 150 kilometres away using a Citation CJ3, a sleek and comfortable jet. Although this alternative required a short additional flight to reach the final destination, it promised a significantly enhanced travel experience for the client and their family over the long distance flight.

The operator facilitated the quick and efficient transfer of the clients’ bags, guaranteeing a smooth and hassle-free 20-minute flight to the more remote destination.
