The Right Aircraft and When to Size Up
Recently we had a client make a flight request via the website. The client had chartered before with a different private jet charter company, but hadn’t had the best experience flying and were apprehensive to charter again. This is a perfect example of understanding the client, and when to size up to a larger aircraft, making a huge difference to the flight experience.
The client’s brief was that cabin space was essential. Truthfully the last aircraft they were offered through a different charter service was too small in our view. Their previous aircraft seated the number of guests required but there wasn’t necessarily ample room for the trip to be comfortable for them.
We listened and understood their opinion and feelings on the previous trip, then provided our options which would give the client more room to stretch out and be comfortable through the duration of their trip. Sizing up would provide a much more comfortable flight.
The chosen aircraft was a Citation Sovereign. They had previously flow on a Citation CJ2. The Sovereign provided the client with the touch more room that made all the difference. The client was particularly happy with the addition of a cabin attendant which was not available on a CJ2.
The client was also travelling with their beloved companion, a lovely little grey cat. Our senior broker was at the airport ready to greet the client with an Admiral Jet gift. And something for the cat too!
Personal touches, trust and thinking ahead for our clients are second nature to us and the client had their faith in the charter industry restored. We are now their only broker they contact for their travel needs.
Choosing to size up to a large aircraft gives you more space when you are travelling with several companions, have a lot of luggage, or need space for meetings or sports equipment.
