Over the recent weeks, we’ve seen a significant rise in demand for short notice on-demand trips, relating to the Coronavirus, or COVID-19. The team have done their best to facilitate these last-minute trips, all over the world, whilst of course this is challenging at the minute, the team are doing their upmost for all of our clients, whilst at the same time following advice from the appropriate authorities. Be rest assured for anyone that is traveling with us that their safety is our absolute priority and that all the aircraft that we use are disinfected with a special antiviral product before each flight by our trusted operators. All aircraft will also be equipped with protective masks, gloves and sanitiser should you wish to use them. The US Federal Government passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act which included tax relief measures for US business aviation customers and the industry. This means that the 7.5% Federal Excise Tax has been removed from private jet prices until the end of 2020. This is welcome news for customers and companies in our sector as this will now doubt be a challenging time for the next few months. This means for all domestic charter within the US, and international flights in or out of the country (within 225 miles of the border) the Federal Excise Tax will not be added. In addition to domestic flights within the US, the 225 mile zone will include flights between and USA and either Canada or Mexico.
