Spreading Joy this Christmas

Giving back to the community is something we hold close to our hearts. It’s a small way we can spread the festive spirit and bring smiles to those who need it most.

If you’d like to get involved, check out the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal to see how you can make a difference this holiday season. Together, we can make Christmas a time of joy for everyone.

2025 Update

This year we are again donating toys to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal – we’ll be heading to the shops this week to fill our trolleys with gifts for those Children who may not otherwise receive a gift..watch this space!

This morning we hit the shops and bought 6 large sacks of toys of gifts for babies through to teenagers. It’s a real highlight of the year for us and we hope these gifts will bring some joy to families this festive season. A big thank you to the Chris and the team in Folkestone who distribute the gifts across the areas.

Every year, thanks to the kindness of our supporters, over 68,000 Christmas gifts are lovingly shared by The Salvation Army across the UK and Ireland, each one a message of hope for someone experiencing hardship, homelessness or tough times. – Salvation Army

Spreading Christmas Cheer: Supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal

Instead of sending out traditional Christmas gifts this year, we are donating gifts to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal on behalf of our clients.

Today has been a brilliant day! We had the pleasure of shopping for almost 80 Christmas gifts to donate to the Salvation Army. This wonderful initiative helps ensure that children and families facing hardship can experience the joy of Christmas.

From toys and books to crafting and cozy essentials, every present was chosen with care, knowing it could light up someone’s Christmas Day. Next week, we’ll be delivering these gifts directly to our local Salvation Army, just in time for their distribution.

29th November – update

Today we had a lovely morning down in Folkestone dropping off our donations to the Salvation Army drop off point. We met the lovely Joanne who we’d organised our gifts to be dropped off with. It was a brilliant Christmas atmosphere! While we were chatting she said they’d had a fantastic number of gifts donated and were going to split the toys across both Folkestone and Hythe districts. It’s great to know that we can all be part of something so brilliant to ensure that the children who need it the most, can all experience some Christmas Joy.

We’re sure you’ll agree this is a fanstic cause!
