What to consider when travelling by a private jet during COVID-19

To help you plan your travel in the current climate, we have answered some of the common questions the team have been asked over the last few weeks.

Is there still private jet availability?

Yes! We are working closely with our operators to secure availability and the team are available to assist with all enquires.

What measures are in place for my safety?

Every aircraft will be deep cleaned prior to use and additional equipment will be available on the aircraft such as gloves and face coverings. We make sure to conduct health and safety checks on all of our staff before they fly, including temperature checks and a general evaluation of their health and safety viability before we let them fly.

Will I have to quarantine when I get to my destination?

This largely depends on the country in question, there are already a few countries that will allow British holidaymakers in without any quarantine requirements, including France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Belgium, Sweden and Switzerland.

Will I have to quarantine when I arrive home?

How much notice should I give?

We currently ask for as much time as possible so we can secure an aircraft however the team are ready to deal with any last minute requests and to get you where you need to be quickly and efficiently.

Is it safer to fly by private jet during this time?

Flying private has numerous advantages when it comes to ensuring a healthy travel experience that including skipping the airport terminal and not worrying about social distancing onboard the aircraft.

The benefits is a shorter journey with less exposure to potential germs. In most cases passengers can drive up to the aircraft from the safety of their vehicle, board the aircraft, fly nonstop to nearly anywhere in the world, get picked up air-side, and go directly to their destination.

Overall, the amount of touchpoints is reduced when flying which significantly lowers the risk of exposure to germs.

Can I still fly with my pets?

Admiral Jet know that your pets are important to you and we can still accommodate your pets in most cases providing all the pet documentation is correct and up-to-date. We can make all the arrangements for clients who wish to travel with their domestic pets, ensuring the animal’s welfare and comfort at all times.

When will I need to pay for my private jet?

All flights must be paid in full prior to departure. When flights are booked far in advance, it may be possible to pay a deposit, followed by the balance closer to the flight date, just ask the team and they will be able to advise.

Which currencies can I pay with?

Admiral Jet accepts GBP pounds sterling, Euros and US Dollars. Please let the team know which currency you would prefer to use, and they will ensure this is used on the invoice.
