Private Flights - Top Tips for Smooth Travelling

The world of travel is massive compared to what it was 100 years ago. With so many more places easily accessible, and the majority of the world at peace, it is not difficult to go around the globe for a holiday whenever you want.

The transportation that we use for these adventures is better than before, but the private jet hire still remains the bespoke option. There’s a lot of things that you can do when flying privately to make the most out of your trip, so read on to discover a handful of tips and tricks.

Communicate With Us

It is not uncommon for people to ring ahead and let us know that they are due to arrive at the airport. When you tell us you’re on the way, we can liaise with Air Traffic Control and make sure that we are ready to go as soon as you arrive, for a smooth transition from one form of travel to another.

Ask us For Advice!

There’s no doubt that we’ve been all over and seen a lot of stuff. So all of our pilots are pretty well-versed in the local culture, customs and have made the trip hundreds of times. Feel free to ask them when they land for advice about the area. They can give you some pointers for getting settled in, and maybe share a grain of local knowledge to make sure you don’t accidentally create a mishap while trying to get a taxi to the hotel.

Make Requests

There’s one thing that you should know about us – we aim for a bespoke experience: comfortable seats, entertainment, food and drink, amiable staff – the full package. So we’re used to people asking for something a little different to make their experience a great one.

If you’re someone who wants to fly across the world and watch the latest films, that’s something we can do. If you’re going to have a proper romantic dinner with a partner because you’re on the way to a honeymoon, then we can do that too. It’s just a question of asking – don’t be afraid to make a request.

Feel Free to Tip

Ah, we’re at a potentially uncomfortable topic here. Tipping is a bit of a strange one in most places – do you tip? Do you not? Well, the official position is you don’t have to, and it’s not strange if you do. When our staff show you a good time, and you want to reward them, that’s up to you – but don’t feel pressured.

So as you can probably tell, there are quite a few different tips that help people to feel like they’re being looked after while they’re up in the air and flying from one place to the next. We do get it – you want to feel important, and at the same time like you’re getting the most from your experience. Don’t be afraid to ask us for anything that you think would turn a good experience into a great one. We’re here for you after all, so whatever we can offer, even if it’s just a good sandwich, is something we’re happy to provide.
